Below, you’ll find all the details you need to host your event at Paul Quinn College, including how to get started, our policies, and helpful guidelines.
Once your request is approved, you’ll need to:
Important: Your event is not officially scheduled until all documents are received.
Fees for external events are determined based on space usage, duration, and requested services. After your event request is approved, you’ll receive a detailed estimate outlining all associated costs.
Individuals and/or organizations (external and those seeking in-kind services/usage) interested in hosting an event and/or using Paul Quinn College campus facilities are required to abide by the procedures outlined below.

Policy Adherence
College-affiliated individuals (students, faculty, staff) are expected to comply with all policies outlined in the Student and Employee Handbooks. Non-compliance may result in the loss of facility usage privileges.
Effective January 1, 2025: To ensure the safety, security, and overall experience of all attendees, Paul Quinn College has implemented the following policies for athletic events and large campus events, including but not limited to Homecoming, Founders’ Day, Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) performances, and Graduation.
Clear Bag Policy
All guests attending athletic events and large campus events are required to adhere to the Clear Bag Policy. Only the following types of bags are permitted:

Diaper bags and medically necessary items will be permitted after proper inspection at designated entry points.
No Outside Food Policy
To enhance the event experience and ensure the safety of all attendees, outside food and beverages are prohibited at all Paul Quinn College sporting events.
Exceptions:
Medically required dietary items are allowed upon proper notification to event staff or security personnel.

Join us for a town hall meeting hosted by the African American Leadership Institute – DFW on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm hosted at Paul Quinn College (Comer Cottrell Student Union Building) – 3837 Simpson-Stuart Road – Dallas, Tx 75241.
Candidates from Dallas City Council Districts 3 & 8 and Dallas ISD Districts 4 & 5 have been invited to participate. This will be an opportunity to engage with candidates and ask important questions before early voting begins on April 22nd.
The community would benefit from several opportunities to hear from those seeking offices and support your goals and objectives for a better city and region. Please share and support this important initiative.
