Paul Quinn Soccer Falls 6–0 at Texas A&M Texarkana
TEXARKANA, Texas, September 20, 2025 The Paul Quinn College women’s soccer team couldn’t overcome a fast start from Texas A&M Texarkana, falling 6–0 on the road Saturday afternoon at Judy Kelley Morgan Field. The loss drops the Tigers to 5–4-1 on the season, while the Eagles improve to 5–1-1.

The Eagles scored five goals in an 8-minute stretch midway through the first half, effectively putting the match out of reach before halftime. Desiree Narvaez was the difference-maker, recording a first-half hat trick with goals in the 23rd, 25th, and 29th minutes. Brooklyn Lattier added two goals, including the opening strike in the 21st minute, and Paige Haderlie chipped in with a goal of her own in the 26th.
Lattier and Lillian Miller orchestrated the Eagles' attack, with Miller tallying three assists and Lattier adding one goal and one assist.
Despite the lopsided scoreline, Paul Quinn's defense was busy throughout, with the goalkeeping duo of Dulce Valdez and Cora Hurst combining for 17 saves on 28 Texarkana shots. Valdez started and stopped four shots in the first half before giving way to Hurst, who collected nine saves but conceded five goals in her 45 minutes.
Offensively, Paul Quinn managed eight shots, all of them on target, but was denied each time by Texarkana's keepers. Anahi Bernal, Miranda Tapia, and Gabrielle Azevedo each tested the Eagles' defense with quality efforts, while Jackie Aguilar and Mia Hawkins also recorded shots on goal.
Texarkana finished with a 28–8 advantage in shots and a 5–2 edge in corner kicks.
